Products: Microscopes and Spectrometers
Microscopes are used for magnifying samples or objects which cannot be seen with the human eye. Spectrometers use X-ray spectra of elements for analysis of chemical substances. This section reveiwes products related to microscopes and spectrometers, such as: Cameras, Confocal Microscopes, Electron Microscopes, EM Accessories, XRF Systems, portable instruments, transmitted, reflected, polarized, fluorescence, and stereo microscopes, Raman spectrometers, CCD spectrometers, handheld, modular, ICP, NIR spectrometers, and many other products.
This section will be available shortly.
Microscopy: Optical Microscopy, Electron Microscopy, X-ray Microscopy
Microscopy is a scientific field which involves using microscopes for magnifying samples or objects which cannot be seen with the human eye. The goal is to render these objects visible for research, allowing researchers to study those objects or samples, their structure, composition, and how they work. There are a number of different types of microscopy: optical microscopy, x-ray microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, scanning probe microscopy, Nomarski microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning tunneling microscopy, scanning ion microscopy, analytical electron microscopy, electron microprobe analyzers and numerous other fields of microscopy that have innumerable applications for it. However, there are three well-known branches of Microscopy: Optical Microscopy, Electron Microscopy and X-ray Microscopy.
Spectroscopy: Absorption Spectroscopy, Floresence Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy
Spectroscopy is a field of analytical chemistry that uses X-ray spectra of elements for analysis of chemical substances. X-ray analysis by position and the intensity of the characteristic lines of the spectrum allow for quantitative and qualitative composition of substances and are used to express non-destructive testing of composition of material. Spectroscopy is based on the use of the frequency dependence of the radiation lines of the characteristic spectrum of elements from their atomic numbers and the link between the intensity of these lines and the number of atoms taking part in the radiation. In simple words it is measurement of signal vs. energy. Well known branches of Spectroscopy are: Absorption Spectroscopy, Floresence Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy.
